GOLD COAST WAS A BLAST!!!
hello all...jus came back from gold coast tis afternoon. as some of u noe my cousin from adelaide, Halim came to visit me on thu...brought him ard Brissy. wah had a lot of first times with him man...we walked from central station to southbank and back to city...den took the city cat (a ferry thing that goes along the brisbane river) with him..took the wrong direction so instead of ending up in sch for my lecture, we ended up at the other end of the brisbane river...aiz...so missed my lesson...whole of thu was spent walking ard brisbane..then we went to west end to eat at makan house..from there we went home by bus n train..cool..its been a long time since i went public. actually its kinda ok..but jus worry abt safety wise esp since im alone..
so on fri monin, we headed to GC via train..yup train ride..i saw lotsa things but lazy to take pics haha.. very authentic country style living n modern city living..u can jus c d difference... arrived at GC at 930am..Halim's mates were stil sleeping wen we reached there. so after they washed up, we went for lunch of kebab. after that, halim n mates went to movieworld while syafiq n i head to rent a car and went to harbourtown. went shopping haha retail theraphy always work..bought a canterbury polo shirt for jus $20..and another polo t for $10..okla not so bad..den bought a nike shoe for $60 hehe cant resist to buy shoes..went to woolies for grocery and head back to GC. cooked pasta with carbonara sauce..my own creation..turns out well jus tat it was abit spicy for them. at night, we walked ard the flea market and the beach....
sat woke up late cos all of us were tired..me n syafiq headed to mt tambourine while the guys went surfing. i think..or swimming..i dono la.. went to the mt tambourine distillary..cool place..nice to see the bottles..one thing i forgot was to take pics inside the shop..haha..but managed to get the pics from the entrance and the place itself. next to it was a cheese place...wuhoo cool...i like...after that we headed to north tambourine where there was this shop that sells FUDGE! wuhoo..all kinda fudge..i was totally nuts abt it...i almost bought the whole range that they had..den we walked along the road and found another fudge shop..smaller in size and the choices were abit diff..but the taste wasnt as gd as the first place..den we dropped by a shop sellling german clocks..there were like over 100 clocks! bought magnets for my sisters n mum..head back to GC and had seafood for dnr..den we went to shooters bar..cos got Big Brother eviction party..got to c kristie..haha she so cute.. as blur as ever...she was really herself when she was in BB house sei...
so sun morning...woke up..had lunch den walked ard...went HRC to get ahmad's drumsticks but its out of stock...den went to get halim's n azrul's squishy pillow...haha so now we no need to fight for the pillow!! after that went back to the apartment, got our stuffs and went off...halim n mates took the cab to airport while syafiq n i head to the bustop for the bus...all the way in the train..we were sleepin hahaha....
reached home at 3plus..took out my stuffs..den went to sleep..slept from 5 til 9 man...den woke up jus in time eugene n connie came back n said they goin 3 monkeys..wuhoo..changed n went there...wah so many turned up..nigel with his frens, lisa n cory, jonathan n jasmine, see kiat, sara, ruth n 3 of us...all cramped up at one table ahah...after that we wanted to check out the sheesha place but it was too late n they were close...so mayb next time lor..amazingly ruth havnt tried sheesha b4..heheh...
ok tmr ive got sch..need to get some sleep. tmr i need to check with jasmine with regards to the driving thing. mite b takin my test on wed after sch..
oh yah people..some of u wondering how i m n stuffs..life has been fine at the moment...i mean its jus the first wk so of course im fine..gimme some time to adjust again..if i cant, i noe i hav gd frens to fall back on..thx zai for callin me to check on me...appreciate the concern..right now my mind is stil set on finishin that degree..ive set my mind on it..i jus hav to drive myself for it...
