One wk term break ending soon

Well its thursday today. Woa term break sure went by really fast. Din managed to get much work done though although I managed to do my research for the respective assignments due next week. Just need to sit down n start writing all the reports and essays. Managed to get started on my Taoism reading. Hmm I hate doing the religious essays too many things to read and not knowing which is the truth. Having too much information is as good as not having any information.

Ok how did my week went by? Shiling came up from Adelaide for the UniGames. Went to pick her up on Saturday night. On the way to the airport and back, we had 2 road blocks. Poor Eugene had to check his breathe two times tat nite. Head back to home and she had our left over chicken curry hehe..talked to her n connie till 3plus and slept. First time I had someone sleeping with me on that big bed. Heheh…went up to Mt Cootha that nite. Finally I went up there but I didn’t bring my camera with me as I left it at home. Will go up there again someday to take pics. It has a nice view of the city. Can even see my apartment from up there.

Went up to Toowomba on Sunday together with Ken, Jon n Jas in Jon’s Prelude (MooMoo). Met Lin n Brendan there. They went up last Sat. We started off late and ended up arriving only at lunch time. Went up to the picnic point and had lunch there. Jas made fried rice n I brought oranges. Then we head to Brendan’s parents house. Wuhoo it was real nice man! Its like a dream house for me. Total cost that they bought it for was only A$300,000 wah..its like buying at only half a million SG dollar man…haiz well gimme another 20 years maybe though n I move up here to get similar property I guess..We had dinner at Indian Aroma at Rosalie that night. Had fish fillet curry woa cool it was super good indian food man. Next time my frens come, we are surely gonna bring them there for dinner.

Wanted to go Moreton Bay Island on Monday but due to last minute confirmation, we ended up only going there on Wednesday. So we made the necessay arrangements on Monday, rented the 4WD and ferry booking. On Tue evening, my first ride on a 4WD..haha collecting the car from Europcar. Wuhoo cool! It was under Jon’s name but Kai drove back as Jon had his MooMoo with him. Used my credit card so I had the first passenger ride on it. Hahaha…went over to Swann Road for pasta dinner and dvd. We went to Freestyle at Rosalie that night for coffee and dessert supper with Kai, Sara, Sam, Ken, Wilment and his galfren. Wanted to try the 4WD up to Mt Cootha but only me, Ken n Kai wanted to go. So we headed back to Swann Road. Slept over there and headed up to Moreton at 6plus am.

We reached early at the ferry terminal. Spend time talkin and munchin on chips. Goin fatter man. Finally we board the ferry. Spent 1 n half hr on board, cracking jokes and having a nice view of the sea. Saw jellyfishes on the moves. Wuhoo! Damn cool man. Wish I could catch them ahha…arrived at Moreton Bay. Saw some ship wrecks, a part of the attraction. Real ship wrecks that happen super yrs ago. Not sure how long though. We headed off to the eastern beach. Bumpy ride along the way. First sand digging incident happened here. We took the wrong turn and distrupt the tracks haha…

N I DROVE THE 4WD ON THE BEACH!! Wuhoo…haha but along the way, kena stop by the ranger. Cos the 2 goons, kai n ken was half body out of the car thru the windows. Kena whack la. Cos road rules is still applicable at the island. Wah den he asked for license! Wah lucky he meant the car license permit to drive on the island n not driver’s license haha n guess whos behind the wheel at that moment. Woa..lucky the permit was under my name so he just take a look and wished..so its just a day trip n ur on the 330 ferry back to brissy eh mate..well enjoy ur stay here then. Fuh..lucky us. So I drove on enjoying the breeze n maintainin the speed limit of 60. ahha tempted to go faster though ahah..but then was enjoying myself too much till I dint realise tat there was a small little river thingy at one point. Woa I wanted to step on brake but ended up accelerating..fuh we went over it quite hard man! So ended up, we switch driver n I dint drive after tat. Kinda phobia..haha well it’s a rented car man. Anything happen to it, its my credit card sia. So after experiencing the 3 guys driving, I think Kai’s drivin was the most alright one. Kinda the smoothest, ken was the most bumpy mayb cos he don drive as much as the other two. Jon was alright but he din drive a lot there.

We were supposed to go to the lighthouse then the blue lagoon and sand dune lastly cos it was raining the previous nite so the dunes were kinda wet in the morning. We were so fascinated by the view up the lighthouse till we spent kinda quite some time up there. And furthermore we saw whale! Yah we did. Baby whale though din c the mama whale. Din managed to get pics though. Both kai n I were so fascinated till we just stood the awe at the view. Ahahaha..oh yah we saw a few dolphins along the way to moreton and also at the beach when we were waiting for the ferry to go back to brissy. Managed to get some pics of that though. So we were caught up with time n din have time to go sand dune skiing cos we were stuck on the way there. Haha funny we had to dig sand out of the car most of the time. Haah but it was fun. Tyre pressure so make a lot of difference man! To anyone who wants to drive 4WD on sand, please make sure the pressure is between 14-18. We ended up cleaning the car on board cos we were not sure if we could bring it off road though haha the contract stated unsealed roads prohibited but another clause said ok to drive on tracks maintain by the national parks..so we were blur n jus to play safe we cleared the sands off the main body n under the body.

So as we head home, it was already 5.10 when we arrived on brissy side of the ferry. We had to send the car back by 530! Pumped petrol n washed the windows at the petrol station. Haha Rushed all the way man. Woa that was the first time I see Kai speeding on Pacific Motorway man. Smooth ride though abit scary at times hahaah. Then when we were back in the city, they din noe how to get to Charlotte st (theres d garage that we were suppose to send it back to). Pressured sia to get to it and avoiding the traffic. Cos when we collect it on Tue, we came from the other way. Woa I had like 30 seconds to find where we are on d street directory and direct Kai the way. Fuh..lucky that nite wen we sent Shilling to her hostel I kinda remember which roads we took. Directed Kai n we ended up arriving at 547pm. BUT THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED! Wah more pressure sei cos if we don return that nite its gonna clock up another $340 man! Jon called the Europcar main line to find out how to go abt. He did call the office to tell them that we were on the way there already and will b abit late. Guess OZies being OZies, close on time one. Ended up leaving the key to the wilson parking officer. Hopefully nothing happen man…will cal jon later to check.

I guess the cockups were the things that made the trip fun. We joked a lot and all those funny things that happened will certainly b remembered. Ken with his sand pile. I think he tried to drive through the sand track for abt 5 times man and we spend like abt 25 mins there man. Although another car helped us n the ranger, finally we maanged to get to the blue lagoon ahahah…jon was another one with sand digging incident also while we tried to get to sand dune area haha funny..we spend like full 15 mins there til we decided to jus head back to the ferry and head home. Ended up stoppping at the eastern beach where they had a sand slide thingy too n they had some cheap trills goin down that slope. Ahaha..

So today I went to royal on the park for my induction. Haha it turned out that the tall guy tat was at the Meet the Industry leaders event was the Executive Assistant Manager. Hehe yah d cute guy. But hes married..so sad. Ahha..went to collect my vest, tie n apron. Walked ard the hotel with Ian, tats his name. Ended up at the banquet dept. Met Kelly my mgr and she went through the stuffs for tmr. YUP im starting work tmr morning at 630am for a breakfast event. Simple thing, set breakfast for 350 pax but the Premier is coming so it’s kinda a VIP event. Fuh honoured sia to be having a VIP on my first day hahah..just that tis time im on the floor instead of jus being ard showing face. I like it this way!

Ok its 1143 now. I need to sleep n wake up at 5 tmr monin. Need to get some sleep. Had my taoism reading jus now. Tmr afternoon im dropping by Shilling’s hostel to accompany her for the day. She hurt her knee n now Eugene n Connie r there to accompany her while her mates r out. SO by tmr nite, I need to write my essay at half of it done man. And Sunday needs to do FM! Otherwise I can jus die man. Need to do a lot of work for FM. Hmm now I need to make changes to Wed timing with Carl, my tutor. Was suppose to meet him in the morning b4 class for consultation but I have to b in ROTP for my orientation though. So im heading to class in the afternoon. Attending the 2-4pm class instead and go for consultation at 4pm. Well I don’t mind man as long as im studying.

Asian culture essay due on thursday and my hotel tech is due on fri. hmm but im not involve in this time ard. I need to start on the last submission which the presentation. Aiz sch work is non stop and exams r comin! I have 4 wks left b4 study wk. haiz n fasting month is here also. Praying hard tat I can get thru this man…ok till next entry. Hope u guys enjoyed this long entry of mine which I typed on words first instead of writing my essay ahahah tats y its looks slightly better than my normal entry ahahha..gd nite people..will update u guys abt my first day at work!
