AMIR'S DAY OUT

Hi Tantine!

Amir here. Hope today's paper was alright.

Amir had a BIG adventure yesterday. Followed abah, ummi, tok, nenek, uncle sham, auntie yati, uncle syed, nek odah n tok man to JB. My second time entering msia. Ummi didnt even have time to shower me in d morning (since i was sleeping like a log anyway) since we left at 6.45am. Trying to beat traffic and it seems dat tok man got to leave spore b4 7am since he got a red license plate. I dunno wat that means...i've seen some other cars with such red plates too on the road sometimes. Maybe they got it red since they're notti!

Anyway...although i felt bit yucky since i didnt shower, i didnt complain coz i'm going JALAN-JALAN which is my favourite pastime now! D only thing i complain is wen i cant see the trees outside moving or there were only skies! After a while, looking at the moving trees can be quite hypnotic you know...so i decided to doze off till we reached noyang ngah's place.

Wah first time being in kampung...met my new imaginary frens from Johore. There were lots of mozzies buzzing around too. Ummi is such a freak so she tried to cover me up with blanket and revealing only my head wen i was sitting in the rocker. I didnt complain much even though its warm...hey...didnt wanna risk my smooth soft baby skin and ruin my beautiful complexion...nanti dah tak hensem if got red mozzie bites!

After they had lunch we left for Segamat..where nek odah's mum stays. Waaah..such a long journey...almost 4hrs drive from Serkat. Dunno how many times i've dozed off in between. Finally we reached there! The house n environment is definitely much better. Cleaner area, cleaner cemented house and NO mozzies! There were only big fat flies but definitely better than getting bites!

The rest ate AGAIN since the hosts have already cooked. Tot we'll be reaching there around lunch time but we reached at 4pm instead. SO i'm confused...is that lunch or dinner?? But whatever it is...they ate again!

Going home was another looooong journey. We stopped at SMART to do some shopping. Abah n Ummi very happy to find that my milk is definitely much cheaper there so they bought 2 big tins! But diapers abit more expensive so they didnt buy that for me. I was very happy at the diaper section since i saw soooo many of my 'frens' there too (pictures of babies on diapers). They kept smiling at me so i smiled n talked back. By that time it was already almost 10.30pm which is my bedtime..so i kicked up a fuss and made them panic. Nenek wanna join d rest for dinner but since i was oredi making noise, tok wanna drive home. So we left the rest in JB.

I slept on Ummi's shoulder most of the time till she got no more energy to carry me. So i continued sleeping in the rocker which has d prime seat at the back facing d aircon. D only thing i know...i woke up at 5am this morning feeling yucky wif my soaked diaper n i was thirsty. So i woke ummi by nudging her many times!

So here i am...back in abah's n ummi's room on their bed sandwiched in between.....n reminiscing my adventure yesterday!

was feeling sucky today actually cos i screwed up my paper. but wen i read this email from my sis, somehow...it just lighten me up. thanks sis! now im really in a fix..all i wanna do is to go home n c him...but i noe i have some things to take care of rite now here..choices in life..haiz..
