jus a rambling thought...

im doin my industry project thingy n i realised something...

most of the employees in the hospitality industry are Malays..esp in frontline and back of house such as engineering dept. Y? isit bcos they arent qualified enough? Is it becos u need a freakin paper to get a high position...i jus seem to agree with it cos tts wat im freaking doing rite now. No matter how gd u are, u stil need that freaking paper. at least a diploma to get into a junior exec level..y?

Is it becos we are classified into the no future goals community? wher we are always contented with wat we have? OR the total opposite which when someone of our status begins to get a higher level, we talked n biatch abt them..hmm PHD as my mum wud say it..Perasaan Hasrat Dengki..hmm english it means..damn my malay is gettin worse..let me consult Zai for the translation ok..ZAI i need ur help!!

yah Malays as i was saying..hmm those higher status dowan to help the lower status. Nah i don think so. If the Malay/Muslim community bodies keep on focusing the lower income level, how abt the middle range? This pple are the ones tryin our best to overcome and change the total outlook of Malays n they arent helping us at all...Throughout my life, ive heard abt students complaint tt they cant get scholarships n all..parents have to scrimp n save jus tto make sure tt their kids get into uni n all..i noe it. cos i went thru it..my dad has 3 kids to support. luckily my sis did a twinin programme n she only had to go to Melb for few wks, wat if she had to go there for 2 yrs also! my bro already went to UK for 3 yrs n tt was during the recession period..97-99 wher a dollar sing is equivalent to over 3 pounds!

somemore with the tv shows like anak metropolitan, hanyut n all..showcasing the malay society like trash..hanyut is quite gd..cos it focus on the current issues tts happening. yes we shud adress them but there is a certain limit to it..

its not tt im complainin...im jus puttin my thoughts across. not jus help those reli in need..there is jus so much u can do for them..its up to them to change also. take it frm another perspective..what if these middle income level pple succeed in the end, even though u help contribute in only 1 semester of their studies..they will remember ur help. they in turn can help u shape the lower income level..come on..wheres the spirit of gotong royong..wher we help each other..i guess wid globalisation n advancement..we totalli forgot abt our roots..culture n beliefs..we began to embrace the westernised culture..

just look at the clothings..u can c d diff..when can u see a nice malay girl wearing baju kurung on jus a normal day..onli wen hari raya comes den u can c..ok yah abit d suaku to wear on normal day esp in the hot weather this days....but wat abt Fridays..shudnt we respect that day..i made myself a point to wear baju kurung on fridays wen i was in poly..haha tts wen i guess i attracted someone's attention..eheh...ok sidetracked abit..but i love wearing my baju kurung..loose n big..hah i love wearing them n sitting legs folded wid the kain dangling..i mean its super duper airy lor..i can sit anyhow n not worry abt revealin certain areas cos its all covered up..i miss those days..

well its jus a rambling from me..im like super stress rite now with my research..cos i reli dono whether im on the rite track..i need to find the station master..n get back into my train ..hav a long journey ahead..

oh yeah i will b wearin baju kurung down here..during hari raya..i did wear last yr for a presentation..its abt cultures..i love wearing baju kurung prefer them to kebaya..hmm actually wat was the initial thing tt i wanna say..hmmm

ok back to my runaway train....
